On this screen, you can view periodic targets and create a new target. You can also weight your goals and submit them for approval.
You can use OKR examples prepared by professional OKR experts when determining goals.
1- ADD NEW GOAL
We write the name of the goal in the first line and add information and details in the description section to ensure that the goal is understood by everyone. We choose one of the Individual, Team or Organization options as the goal type.
In the visibility setting, we choose one of the Visible or Hidden options; If the Visible option is selected, the relevant goal will be visible to everyone in the organization. If the Hidden option is selected, the relevant goal will be visible only to the person who created it and its administrator. As the goal owner, the user can choose himself or, if authorized, can see other users and specify the relevant user.
For the period, we choose one of the periods we created in the settings menu. The start and end dates indicate the time range of the goal. As a strategy, we choose one of the predefined organization strategies and add our goal with the save button.
2- WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
Weight management ensures weighting performance between goals and key results. Without weighting, the relevant key results affect the progress of the goal equally. When weighting is done, it affects the progress of the goal related to each key outcome to a degree of severity.
If no weighting is done on a target consisting of 3 keys, the progress of the target will be as shown in the example below.
Key Result 1 progress 50%
Key Result 2 progress 20%
Key Result 3 progress 80%
Goal progress will be calculated as 50%.
Let's assume that we are networking the keywords related to this target as follows;
Key Result 1 Weight 40%, progress 50%
Key Result 2 Weight 40%, progress 20%
Key Result 3 Weight 20%, progress 80%
Target progress will be calculated as 44%.
Key Results of Attentions 3, the target condition did not make less progress than the case without weighting, because the target progress performance was only 20%, despite performing at 80%.
3- ADD KEY RESULTS
We can add up to 5 optional key results to our goal. As we did when adding a goal, we select visibility, user, team and the project it is associated with. At the bottom is the Metric information. Metrics are specific and measurable indicators that allow the objective measurement of the specified key results. We use metrics to track and evaluate the progress towards achieving a goal, either numerically or qualitatively.
4- SEND GOALS FOR APPROVAL
Goals have been determined, after weight management is completed, we submit them to our manager for approval.
5- Check in (Progress)
User can update their goals and key results and record their progress.
In the Check-in history tab, you will be able to view all your past Check-in transactions and see their progress.
